Eric Lance Lauer is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers and Toronto Blue Jays, and in the KBO League for the Kia Tigers. He played college baseball for the Kent State Golden Flashes of Kent State University.

The Pirates are banking on that upswing, too, which is why they signed him to a Minor League deal with a Spring Training invitation this week. The Pirates announced Tuesday afternoon the formal signing of left-handed pitcher Eric Lauer to a minor league contract with a non-roster invitation to major league training camp. They also signed 27 pre-arbitration players to contracts for the 2024 season. There are now 50 players in the major league camp.
